Xbox 1 Live Service ENDS April 15th

Microsoft announced today that Xbox LIVE support for original Xbox games will be discontinued on April 15, 2010.
Halo 2 fans take note - you have ten weeks left to play multiplayer games over Xbox LIVE before the service will be discontinued. Microsoft announced today that as of April 15th they will no longer be supporting the original Xbox console or software on Xbox LIVE. This also applies to original games being played on an Xbox 360.

They're scrapping the PC online? Yikes. I thought the matchmaking on it was similar to that of Halo: CE?

This is good, because halo 2 was the reason why we only have 100 friends list also there was many reasons because of older xbox games were restricting xbl for newer games.

Thats no exuse. Halo 2 has no effect on Modern Warfare 2 or any 360 game for that matter. Except maybe the nerfing of H3, to make it noob friendly.

I know a Program Called Xbox connect that lest you system link xboxes all over the world just like online mutiplayer games but only system linked Option (Only original xbox games) Like Halo2 for example that all they mainly play is Halo2 there BUT if you really have the need to play and own at halo2 online I suggest you get that program (I will not say the sites name that supports this program over the forums Since Halo Tech is not Affiliated with the site

Anyway It's sad that this is happening A lot Xbox 1 costumers will be unhappy And My whole GC Halo2 Division will have to shut down :/

People are saying that when they remove the xbox 1 from live it will boost the 360 to something better...thats what I've been told.

Halo2 players always Whine and Cry about h2 is better when they Play h3 lol i noticed that also I think they are both kick ass games!
