HT5 is going to be one of the nicest, sleekest templates released yet for HaloTech. Including even more JavaScript to get those small, but very neat features running on the site and about time – we have brought back ranks. The most exciting things we brought back are the stupidest things, but what could be better?

We apologize (really, we don’t) for the delay of our TechTalk podcast – Is there really any Tech? – but I’m happy to announce our upcoming episode (#7) with a special guest who knows nothing more than hardcore gaming; she is hot, she is good, and yes - ACTUALLY a girl. The hosts of episode seven will be yours truly:

COOKIES?!?!?!
Where the hell are the cookies?
I have searched everywhere - under the couch, in the cookie jar, BigStack’s secret stash and just no luck! After long hours of research I have found out the cookies were eaten by the database. What does this mean? We need to host a cookie contest and start fresh. Let’s see who can get the most cookies, unlock cool prizes, and get some legendary cookies which can’t be found anywhere else! It’s ok - we all miss the galore of millions of cookies - but now is your chance to collect, trade, and save. Now, where is that golden cookie?
HALO: REACH STATS AND MORE
HaloTech will be offering stats just as seen in Halo 3, but better! The stats system will include goodies from comparing accounts, viewing in-depth stats, and the creation of signatures! The team was disappointed at the beta, but it seems Bungie Studios worked hard the last few months and have shown very cool vids and tuts. It’s only logical that the jet pack needs to be picked up to use - am I right? Anyway, we are excited for Halo: Reach and we hope you are too - we will be sure to talk about whats to come in episode 7 of the TechTalk podcast!

Ok, now that I have announced the update I would like to thank the crew for all their hard work and dedication. It has been a while since HaloTech's template was actually GOOD. So, we hope everyone will enjoy it as much as we do. The nice thing about our template that we have spent one month, everyday, working on this custom built website. Rest assured there will still be bugs on the site, we want to get the sexxy template up for everyone to enjoy with us!

AFH has been by far very dedicated by planning how the overall site would look, after we saw the blueprints we put the idea into production. During production AFH has customized all images used with our template to give HaloTech that unique feel which HT has always deserved.
BigStack
BigStack helped in re-formatting the forum's structure for better usability. Before users were very limited to what they could do, but now the world has opened up and we have looked 'beyond the canyon' with what options we can give our users! Look for all the new Mods and Ad-dons there are around the site. Look for all the new Mods and Ad-dons there are around the site.
DeUcE
Once BigStack found out a nifty feature which we have had for a while, he put it to use by getting DeUcE to whip up some very epic forum icons which we all can enjoy. I for one can't get enough of the icons, keeps me from posting because all I want to do is admire them!
TACTICS (zomg, thats me!)
After receiving close to ten 'bitch lists' I have finally satisfied the team with the new templates physic's (thank god). From getting the structure of the house built to getting all the javascript to play nice, it all paid off (even though it was one huge bitch). I would have to say the hardest part would be the sidebar next to peoples posts. Originally I made a topic on Vbulletin.org for some advice on how to do this, but with no response I took matters into my own hands. I really hope you like xD
