Could be the more of the game you play, i.e. multiplayer, campaign, etc... the more options are available to you custimization wise, similar to the armor system in H3, but with a wider range and actual bonus like in COD or Rainbow Six:Vegas.

I dont want Halo coming away from the Halo style and going toward a CoD style. I will not be happy with Bungie if they change the Halo feel.

Yea halo needs to remain Halo. In terms of how its played. The whole i have this gun cause im a loser and play the game a lot more than you do cant happen.

Thats the downside to games like COD, those that play too much or boost their accounts get weapons that dwarf what new players begin with.

I haven't noticed a significant advantage.

Maybe its just me idk but i remember playing WaW online and people with weapons unlocked later on had an easier time getting kills, again maybe it was just me. Halo is great because everyone uses the same guns that do the same damage all the time.

It might not even be weapons, but be "perks" so to speak. Or weapon-add ons. Halo has never had a large variety of weapons in general, so i don't see them changing from that.

Its just Armor Types and stuff. U can buy yourself a pretty left shoulder pad. Buying items in no way affect Game Play. They do not make you stronger or make your weapons better is just for looks.

BigStack has it exactly right, it's all about the $$$$$$ ... see 'em charging 240 Microsoft Points for one shoulder pad that does shit

I don't think they will bring that in. The credit system they have seems to work out fairly well.
