[Tactics]

As we begin to build our Pre-Defined Avatars for everyone to use, we ask that people also contribute Avatars. Later this year, we will also begin simple contests. These contests will be based off of your Artistic Skill, lets see who can be the best ;)

Though for now, please contribute your favorite avatar so that we may add it to our growing directory.
(You will feel proud when you see people using it)

*When posting here, you are submitting an image meets the requirements of 180px × 173px MAX. You may also choose how much posts a user must have to select your avatar. (We have the right to change what the post count will be though, so don't be dumb and say 1000000000000)

@Darkless - Ranks resemble your post count, your main avatar is what we have now. Upon editing that avatar in your profile, you will see pre-defined ones for your convenience.

@DeUcE - This is not connected to the stats page. Though, your title "Podcast Staff", can get changed via stats page with a custom one if your post count meets the required amount and if your in a certain group level.

I noticed the new titles. When did this get put into place and can we have specific details on the rankings?

Also this is like the OLD HT rankings based on Halo ranks Gen Grade 4 FTW

The titles haven't really been changed, kept default from Vbulletin. We are still slow with making the ranks and stuff. This thread is just based on the avatars. Would be cool if someone created another thread with ranks/post count/images, lol

The ADMINS should get on that.

Would be cool to get the community involved. Personally I look at it this way, Admins = Government... And I don't want the government to run everything. A little community interaction and events do good, while the government (admins) make sure the rules set are being followed. In the end it would get approved by Admins. :)

Just my opinion, but if you feel we should do everything, we can.

Thats what I was trying to accomplish in this thread, though you want the admins to do everything. Glad we are thinking the same way now. :)

I used to run a healthy community, Ima more a community person. To get activity, the ingredients needed are:

Events - Weekly
Contests - Simple will do
Interaction - People feel more devoted when their work is showed and used on the site

Not going to kill me if we dont have avatar images. Just will make it look nicer and people can get the chance to submit and image

Little disappointed how people just posted on behalf of complaints and how admins should do it... I said to post an avatar image to the thread...

At this point, I think the avatar idea can be put on the back burner until the community developes. There's already a lot in the works, so no need to go at it all at once.

*confused*.... Simple things as this only require someone to upload an image. Though I can see that will not be happening. Right now there is nothing more for the community to do besides the admins and staff, so this fills the cracks as a side project.

If people can't even understand the concept... well I'm sorry. I don't see what I can do far as "building a community", without interacting with with it...
