http://techcrunch.com/2010/01/12/google-china-attacks/

So aparently the Google HQ in china was hacked by a group of people looking for info related to activists in the country and other stuff like financial and commerce. Instead of closing down its operations in China I want to see Google mess with China's internet so badly that breaks permanently.

In other news...

I read somewhere that Google plans to make an uber internet that runs at an extremely high rate, and will be avalible to some of the public for testing. I'll find the article in a bit and post it.

1) Yes Google is going to turn out some 1GBs fiber to some areas around the USA so it can test some things.
Read about it here --- http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/news/2010/02/your-new-isp-google-launches-1gbps-fiber-to-the-home-trial.ars

2) Most of the internet is a war zone. each day 93 % of email is spam or other email that will contain viruses or other things that can be used to steal stuff. DDOS attacks i think a few years ago accounted for about 28 % of all traffic on the net (and other attacks as such). The undergroud of the internet is massive compared to what most people are accustomed to. Google searches Facebook and Myspace and well HaloTech are the surface. Get use to it 80% of the internet is bad in some way.

Mainly the reason why I try not to be dumbass and post lots of shit, lol... because once in interwebz.... its on.
I like sites which allow the user to delete their own account, something I'm trying to work on for vbulletin 4.

I heard about that new google internet. That sounds so awesome! Like a movie downloaded in a 20 seconds (jizzed in my pants). This will bring the end of copyright around since information can be downloaded so quickly to prevent tracking.

Google can just track what you do, all the time.

But they don't have the resources to report ALL of their users to each individual copyright holder.

Also for tracking issues use tor.
